Policies & FAQ

We keep our rules simple and cat-friendly. Here is everything you need to know before your cat's first visit.

Getting started

How do I book?

New clients fill out the new client form first, then book boarding, daycare or spa visits online through our booking dashboard. You can also call or text us.

Is a reservation required?

Yes, for boarding, in-home care and spa treatments. Walk-ins are welcome when we have room, but we cannot guarantee a spot without a reservation.

How old does my cat need to be?

At least 4 months old, which is about when kittens can have their rabies vaccine.

What should I bring?

Your cat in a secure carrier, their usual food, any medications with written instructions, and something that smells like home (a small blanket or favorite toy) if you like. We provide litter, bowls and bedding.

How far do you travel for in-home care?

Premium In-Home Care is available for homes within 30 miles of Batesville. Not sure if you are in range? Call or text us.

Health & vaccines

Which vaccines are required?

A current rabies vaccine (required by Arkansas law) and a current FVRCP (the feline distemper combo). Vaccines should be given at least 7 days before check-in so they have time to take effect.

FeLV (feline leukemia) is recommended but not required. Bring your records to your first visit, upload them in the booking dashboard, or text a photo of them to us.

Does my cat need to be spayed or neutered?

No. Every cat stays in their own kennel and plays one household at a time, so cats that are not fixed are welcome. If your female might come into heat during her stay, just give us a heads-up.

What if my cat has been sick?

If your cat has had a contagious illness (such as an upper respiratory infection) or been exposed to one in the last 14 days, please bring a note from your veterinarian clearing them to board.

Please tell us about any health, behavior or diet needs before drop-off so we can plan for them.

What about fleas?

Cats must be free of fleas and ticks. If we find any, we will call you first. If we cannot reach you, we will treat your cat with a cat-safe flea treatment and add the cost to your bill.

What happens in an emergency?

If your cat needs medical care, we will contact you and your veterinarian right away. If we cannot reach you, we will take whatever steps are needed for your cat's health, and the cost of that care is your responsibility. Please leave an emergency contact who is not traveling with you.

During the stay

Will my cat be around other cats?

No. Each cat has their own kennel, and cats from different households are never mixed. Cats from the same family can share a kennel if they get along at home.

Do the cats get time out of the kennel?

Yes. Every guest gets supervised indoor play time with scratchers, toys and climbing spots, one household at a time. Shy cats can skip play time and relax.

Are the cats near the dogs?

No. The cats have their own quiet space, away from the dogs at Off the Leash Dogs.

Can you give my cat medication?

Yes. Pills and eye drops are $2 per dose and injections are $5 per dose. Please bring medications in their original containers with clear instructions.

Will I get updates?

Of course. We love sending photos. Photos and videos taken during a stay may be shared on our website and social media.

Payments & cancellations

When do I pay?

Payment is due when services are complete, usually at pick-up. Each cat is priced individually.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please cancel at least 24 hours ahead by phone, text or our contact form. Same-day cancellations and no-shows for boarding, in-home care or spa appointments may be charged for the first night or visit.

Around holidays we need 72 hours' notice.

Can I drop off or pick up outside business hours?

Sometimes. Please ask ahead of time. Early drop-off or late pick-up may carry an extra fee.

What if I cannot pick up my cat on time?

Just let us know and we will extend the stay. A cat not picked up within 7 days of the scheduled date, with no contact from the owner, is considered abandoned.

The fine print

Belongings

We take good care of anything you bring, but we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items. Please leave valuables at home.

Refusal of service

We may decline service if we believe a stay would not be safe for your cat, other guests or our staff.

Still have a question? Send us a message and we will get right back to you.
